[X was jarred out of his thoughts and monitoring the diagnostics when his comm pinged. Shifting his attention, he pushed his worries aside and split off part of his processing power to devote to the comm.

It was Zero's office again. Quickly encrypting the feed and shifting it to a secure channel, X sent a pingback to open communications.

A sense of relief washed through him at hearing the girl's voice again. Good, she was okay. Whatever else had been happening, Zero and his twin had been worried about her safety, which meant X himself was worried too. And then there was the possibility that she had been created by Dr. Light too...]

Rock, is everything alright? [There was a definite note of worry in his tone, and a touch of confusion too. Who was she calling about? Had his twin gotten there already?]

I found a...double of Zero. He's confused and doesn't seem to know where he is. He says he was on a mission and suddenly woke up in the restricted labs.

[She's trying not panic too much.] I think he needs someone to tell him whats going on, and I'm not really the best person to explain anything about that.
