why i like using the computer at my parents house:

one of our dogs, owen, comes in here and sits with me.
there are two desk chairs in here. i put him on the other one and roll the chair next to mine and he sits here with me. i call him my business partner whenever i do this.

thats an excellent visual. our dog is a silent beggar and just sits by our dinner table looking for the wandering glance of pity. It got kindof annoying, so I put a bowtie on her and now it looks like we have a really attentive dog waiter. it doesnt seem to bug me as much.
