It's like you've taken my thoughts and written them down in your own words! I agree with everything in this post♥♥ (including the thoughts on the crapilogue, orz)

Also, Alan Rickman. Just, Alan Rickman. [insert intense feelings here]

You know, I'm starting to think Harry and Luna make much more sense canonically as a couple then Harry and Ginny. I just did NOT get any sense of romantic feeling between H and G in the movies. Hilariousness yes (shoe tying, anyone?) but no romance. Nothing. And Luna is just the king and queen of fabulousness.

I really disliked all the movies right up to the DH ones. Both parts really conformed to the book (well, mostly). I wish they'd all been as loyal.

Oh, and Snape made me break down beneath my 3D glasses.

I ship Neville and Luna but I completely agree that H/G do not have any chemistry (books or films). She was Harry's best friend's little sister who idolised him and then this somehow turned into a relationship, seemingly out of nowhere. I get that romantic feelings can come on suddenly but considering that we were getting Harry's POV the whole series, it should have been more convincing. I think JKR writes friendship wonderfully but tends to put romances in for the sake of tidying things up. I think the reason I was convinces by Ron and Hermoine was because they were friends first.

I haven't even seen them all! I was so disappointed with the first few that I only saw POA on TV and skipped GOF completely.

Thank goodness for darkened cinemas, 3D glasses, and a woman sniffing away tears furiously and loudly to distract from my own blubbering ;)
