Oh that looks like a lot of fun to watch and the horses are beautiful. Is it close to your home? I have always wanted to go to one of these shows.

It's a couple hours drive, plus the extra since the roads changed and we thought we knew where to turn! I don't get there too often, every few years for the horseshow.

It was nice. This weekend was nice too, went camping out west of Harrisburg, in a pine forest, then spent a few hours at Hopewell Furnace Natl Historic site on hte way back. The weather was great for just strolling around there, wading through the creek a bit, and talking with teh park service people. One of the rangers hitched up the Percheron they have there and drove a wooden sledge to bring wood up to the house they use for the cooking demonstrations. It was neat to watch.

Pretty good here; went camping this weekend, so I've got a mountain of laundry, tired from a day back to work, and am thankful the heat is cooling somewhat. We went about 300 miles west of home, camping in the mountains where there were lots of pine, far from the noise of urban life. Woke to the loud call of a barred owl once. I slept better than in my own bed. And my youngest finally got the hang of riding her 2 wheeler, since there was not any traffic to worry about. It was wonderful. I keep trying to think of ways to make a living in the middle of nowhere, and dreaming of living out in the wilds. But, it's just a dream.
