So, have any of you seen that movie Point of No Return where Bridget Fonda is forced to be a government assassin after being busted for killing a cop while she was a drug addict in her misspent youth? And Gabriel Byrne (hello, yes please!) is her handler and Dermot Mulroney (before he got all skeevy) is her hotass photographer boyfriend?

( Yeah, someone should turn that into a Frank/Gerard fic. )

NO! Frank and Mikey are out on a job together and Frank, like, gets shot! And while it doesn't kill him, it's pretty bad, and Bob comes to the house and picks him up and takes him to the hospital where Frank is pretty doped up on awesome narcotics. And Mikey is there! And Gerard's all, Mikey, what are you doing here? With my husband? DID YOU SHOOT HIM? ARE YOU OK? WHAT'S GOING ON?!

No! Mikey has this comic book shop as a cover for his assassination shenanigans and Gerard has no clue! So he not only finds out about Frank, he finds out about his brother too!

I LOVED THAT MOVIE! I'm sure it was called 'La Femme Nikita' here, as was the follow-up tv show. BUT your version is MOST AWESOME! And I BEG YOU to write it! Frank and Gerard listen to Nina Simone and snog a lot! :D

I STILL WATCH THE SHIT OUT OF THAT MOVIE EVERY TIME IT'S ON TV. Y, the TV show went by that name, but I never watched it, only the movie. But I will never be able to write it because it needs to be kind of funny and I am not so much funny. Nor do I have a great track record with writing long fic and actually finishing it. SOMEONE ELSE SHOULD WRITE IT.

Because seriously, Frank and Gerard's whole marriage is built on a series of LIES. But then after Frank gets shot and Gerard finds out about him and Mikey and what it is they really do, Gerard is all kinds of free to be as freaky as he likes, and Frank can now clean his gun at night while they watch TV and Gerard draws badass assassin Frank in his sketchbooks! (Mikey still gives Frank shit about the pudding cups in his lunches, though. It's just that it's even funnier now that he knows his brother is the one who packs them for Frank.)
