So I ordered a kit to build a vintage spec Ibanez Tube Screamer TS808. It took a few days, and I fucked some stuff up, but I've decided that soldering components on a board is just about the most relaxing thing I've ever done with my pants on. Conclusion? This thing is totally badass. You want one. Really.

you know...even though i took like 15 credit hrs of EE in college I never once picked up a soldering iron. how sad is that.

You should hang out and swap ideas with my housemate.....he's always down in the garage making up new boards or repairing stuff.
