Ice Queen/Meltdown

Watched the episodes again today, first time in about a year. Mostly fastforwarded through the JAG stuff, especially with Coleman.  Things I noticed:

• I do NOT miss Vivian Blackadder. 
• I do miss glasses!Tony
• I also miss Tom Morrow so much!

I also noticed again how very much Tony was Gibbs' man, right from the start.  If you watch through slashy goggles

Yes! From that first scene, in the truck, that bond is so apparent!

I downloaded acquired them forever ago - awesome eps!

The bond was definitely there from the start and we saw some seriously Smart!Tony and the Tabbiness was so cute!

Oh yes! I was an avid JAG watcher back in the day and wrinkled my nose at the thought of a tie-in with a new spin-off...(even though they said it had MH in it)...and then I watched the eps and I was in love! That very first scene, as TG mentioned, in the truck. I didn't see it through slashy goggles back then, but I adored the Gibbs & Tony dynamic, their bond, their closeness. Took me a while to really love Tony as a character, but his bond with Gibbs? Was pure gold right from the start! *happy sigh*

Rewatched these a while back, this time with the slashy goggles on :) And oh wow, the chemistry between Gibbs and Tony was incredible. Totally agree with you, slash or gen, they belong together :)

And agree with you on the other points! Plus I sometimes kinda miss the "earlier versions" of Abby and Ducky too. Looking back, there are differencies, though much of the characters have remained the same. Also love the fact that the entire core team was in these episodes, and the characters fit so nicely together from the start.
