I think Abby's absence in recent episodes is because Pauley's busy filming a lot of scenes for a future episode. I am totally completely hoping that it means her arc is going to be as big as it's been promised.

Ps. The Abby arc has already started, apparently. The mismatched socks in 'Flesh and Bones'? An early hint that all is not well with our favourite forensic specialist.

I hadn't noticed she hasn't had a Caf-Pow this season, until now!

I've indeed noticed they have toned her down a notch this season - a lot of pants, subdued make-up...

And I've noticed something that's completely IMHO, but Gibbs and Abby have had very few scenes together this season and they have been very short, but at the same time they've been... I don't know... different. Some of them have been maybe sweeter than usual, and Gibbs' attitude... I don't know how to describe it. And the scene where he scolds her for being in the interrogation room: is it me or is that the hardest scolding she has gotten from him?

Am I on the right track with this? - Of course, I really hope Gibbs is indeed involved in Abby's arc, as they said the other day.

You're right. I agree. That scolding WAS harsh. Even for Abby....

Maybe we shouldn't count on SB or anyone to help us on this, and be like Agents ourselves, little clues here and there to keep us watching NCIS and what not, looking for subtle stuff about Abby, Abby/Gibbs, you name it.

Yeah.

And that scoldign seemed specially harsh to me precisely because of Gibbs' different attitude: in the other (few) scenes, he's been smiling, a little explanatory, sweet... it's weird.

Something hinky is going on, and I don't think I like it... Unless it's something to do with Abby. But then again, why would he be avoiding her, scolding her, etc?

Amen to that especially to: Well, we've had an overload of Tony, Ziva and Tiva. Not that I hate Tiva, but it's annoying now.

As much as I love Tiva, they're over doing it now because IMO all the major Tiva fans have been complaining of a lack of Tiva, therefore we get overload Tiva. My only hope is that this Abby-arc has tons of Gabby in it to make us Gabby fans satisfied. Honestly the only reason I haven't really been watching lately is due to too much Tiva.
