This is so terrifying in the way it unfolds seemingly with no exit. Rather--no exit the Winchesters can take. Sam's deliberation when the teacher asks him about things at home is just heartbreaking. I really enjoyed Sam's state-of-emergency agency as he tries to bring Dean back upstairs earlier in the chapter, too. Great work!

Ihave kept checking for updates since yo posted the first chapter on hoodie-time. I am a huge brave wonderful hurt dean fan, and little Sammy doing his best to look after his big brother jus pulls on every heart string. I always want more!! I am completely absorbed and waiting anxiously for the next chapter... hope it is Winchesters to the rescue!! :-)

I don't usually go out of my way to look for child abuse fics, but I'm very glad that I decided to read this - it's a heartbreaking but lovely story, and I really look forward to reading the next instalment. :)
