Flanders gown

Has anyone actually used a Reconstructing History pattern?  Anything I should know about them before I start?  I don't know Kass well enough to friend her here (so she won't read it), but you can send me a message if you have something less-than-glowing to say ( Read more... )

Nevermind, when I hear "Flanders gown" I think working-class Flemish and not what Kass's Flanders gown pattern is of.

I've used two or three of her patterns over the last few years. My 'Flanders' style gown, unfortunately, came from another pattern (I wish I might have had Kass's at the time).

My German gown & hat are both from her patterns. I have and have used the Tudor gown patterns for someone else, as well. Her historical notes are really detailed. And I found the instructions pretty straight-forward and easy to understand.

As a side-note, should you EVER run across a step in the patterns or have a question, Kass is really good about answering emails quickly.

I found her yardage requirements to be really generous, by the way.
