I love, love, love this. I think this is a pretty much perfect illustration of how Holmes's world (and his mind) are this fabulous mix of both chaos and order - order from chaos, or chaos from order, depending on circumstance and Watson *g* - and the beginning of the vid felt very much like we were inside his head, listening to his thoughts swirl. Music choice is A++++++. :D

Oh, wow, thank you! I am so pleased you liked it - and that the idea came through (my big fear was that the concept wouldn't "read")! And gosh, isn't it great music? The song is actually more than 4 minutes long - he keeps up that pace for 4 minutes! But I had to cut it for the vid.

Anyway, so glad you liked!

That is just... brilliant. I've been idly clicking on a few of the Sherlock Holmes vids as they pop up on my f-list - I enjoyed the movie, love RDJ to bits as Holmes, but don't feel fannish about it. But this? This is absolutley wonderful. The music, the cuts, God, you timed it all perfectly and got the essence of everything I liked best about what I saw on screen.

I should have known that if I fell in love with one of these SH vids it would be yours..*g*

Oh, thank you! I'm so happy you liked the vid even without being fannish about the movie. I confess, I'm a little in love with these characters - fell even more in love after I *cough*obtained*cough* the source and saw it again.

Gah! Simply wonderful!

You always seem to have such a tight, playful and well-observed sense of timing - in one sense the scenes appearing chaotic, but actually flowing so beautifully and neatly together.

And of course the music is just perfect.

I really love this, thank you for sharing it. :D

What lovely feedback - thank you! I'm glad that the timing worked for you especially - this song was really a challenge on that level! And it was a bit different for me, so I'm really happy you liked it!

A very successful experiment it is, too! I especially like the first thirty seconds or so; you introduce Holmes and all his various diversions/complications very succinctly. And the editing throughout is *really* crisp--each clip catches just the right motions, just the right glimpse.

Thank you! This was a tough one to get the editing right - it moves so quickly and though it definitely has a beat, it's not as easy to catch as in the rock songs I usually use. So I'm really glad the cutting worked for you - thanks!
