Okay, so I finally went and splattered my fannish glee about this show all over a vid. And, fair warning, the vid is really quite spoilery for, well, my favorite bits anyway.

Every time I rewatch I'm struck anew by the brilliance, the insane daring, the total crack, the excellent planning (episodes 9 and 13 especially have these wonderful callbacks to the pilot), and how much I miss my show!!

No idea what was going on, but you have certainly me intrigued! I do enjoy Peter Coyote's presence in your vid. Yay for the use of a DM song too. :D

It's a very nicely made vid, very creepy. Almost a bit too much for someone like me, who really can't take serial killer plots (or cop shows in which the female characters look like they're too young to drive). But the squickiness is a measure of your genius, I think.

Now excuse me, I'm going to go sit under in an extremely well-lit room for a while.

Heh. I'll definitely take the squick as a compliment, thank you :-). And FWIW, I still feel Rebecca - despite her youth, which, to the show's credit, it did hang a lampshade on - was one of the most awesome female characters on TV and I'm so sorry we never got to know her better!

Awesome!

The song choice was excellent, and I love the internal motion in many of the clips, some of which looked added to me.

I can tell I would love that show if I could stomach the gore. Rachel Nichols is like my #1 girl crush, so I appreciated how prominently she figures here.

I'm glad you liked it! Some of the motion was added but possibly less than you think - the show had a lot of interesting camera work. In some places I had to break up these gorgeous pans and prolonged single shots because they just went on too long for the vid and it caused me great pain to do it.

You probably would love it - Rebecca was an amazing and really interesting character. But I'm very happy you liked the vid even without knowing the source - thank you!
