This is brilliant! I've never seen a vid that so succinctly portrays the extent of power simmering beneath Castiel's placid exterior. The "you trust me don't you baby"s are chilling. AMAZING lyric use and I so loved the continued parallels between Castiel/Dean and the crossraods demon/Dean. Fabulous work.

Oh, wow, thank you so much! I loved working with the lyrics to this song - I just thought they were so scarily appropriate for Supernatural and Castiel. And I'm so glad Castiel's power came through - that was another reason I liked the song, it had such great tension and crescendos to hep convey that. So, I'm delighted it all worked for you!

This is AMAZING. I just watched it 4 times in a row, back to back. I'd get to the end, stare in amazement, then start it over again. I love how you explored Castiel's inherent creepiness & power & inhuman-ness. I love love love the comparisons to demons, especially with the Crossroad Demon.

I am such a huge fan of your sense of timing & movement. You have a real knack for making it flow and feel original. Two sequences that I adored are 1:42-1:51 and 1:59-2:10, but really the entire thing is excellent in its use of internal movement, especially smaller movements like hands and eyes.

Also, great song choice! Awesomeness all around.

Oh yay, I'm glad you liked it so much! And I'm glad you liked the song - I just thought it was so perfect to show Castiel's sinister-ness and I'm really happy it came across! And 1:59-2:10 is definitely one of my favorite parts of it, so I'm very happy you mentioned it, thank you! :-)

Whoa! I think this is my favorite SPN vid of yours yet! It's utterly fanTAStic! There was this whole section in the middle that just left me completely speechless, with like the gun going to the drops of blood and then there were all the bodies laid out and and and and...

This is getting iPod'd at the earliest opportunity.

Wow, thank you! I'm so happy you liked it so much! And yeah, that's one of my favorite sections, too, - the Winchesters as serial killers was basically the look I was going for :-).

Oh, wow, very very cool. :D Love the song and how fresh everything felt combined with your editing. It's like getting to watch a more intense version of his actual arc!

The emphasis on the connections between the angels and demons worked *so* well for me, and your lyric interpretation throughout was completely engrossing. Every new phrase left me excited to see what was coming next, visually and narratively. :}

You really pushed to give us shot choices and framing that we haven't seen a million times and, as dualbunny says, the result was a fresh feel.

Thank you again! Yeah, Castiel is actually ... not really in this vid very much, actually, which I sort of did deliberately so the vid would look a little different :-). I'm really glad it worked!
