This is so freaking awesome.
Whenever Dean gets bitch-slapped by life, I feel like screaming: "don't worry Dean, fangirls love you!" so this vid really spoke to me (and my craziness) XD
really loved it. The two consecutive shots of ghost!Mary passing Dean by and YED!John smirking nearly broke me.
Great vid.

Hey, thanks! Yeah, I think that moment with Mary passing by Dean to talk to Sam is one of the cruelest in the series. Glad it worked for you in the vid!

Found your vid through spnnewsletter, and I have to say I'm amazed - you've managed to combine my two great loves, The Smiths and Supernatural, in a way I had never thought possible.

Seriously, Wow! I love the fast cutting to match the lyrics, as I hate vids that just linger on entire minutes from the episodes (if I wanted to watch the whole ep in real time, I'd do that!).

My favourite combination is "I don't have much in my life, take it it's yours" - it brings tears to my eyes at the same time that I smile indulgently at "and if I seem a little strange, well that's because I am".

And now my head is full of Morrissey lyrics and matching them to Supernatural: 'the boy with the thorn in his side' comes to mind, 'this is the seaside town they forgot to bomb' (for Red Sky at morning)etc.

Thanks again, I'm off to rewatch!

Thank you! I'm so glad the vid struck a chord with you! I think you're right that many of Morrissey's are bizarrely appropriate for Dean - and this one just struck me as perfect for him.
