I already commented on the festivid journal, but after reveals wanted to say again: What a marvelously gorgeous vid. I love the framing device, showing L&R as one in a long line of sleuthing couples with gutsy females, and the Classic Movies in general. I'm always in awe if people can wrangle structure, narrative and purpose from a fluffy source like this.

Aww, thanks so much! The show was consciously made with the classic films in mind - there are all kinds of commentaries where they talk about intentionally trying to recapture those old dynamics - so it was natural to show the characters as the same, but different :-). I'm glad it came across and that you enjoyed it!
