Why rebuke him that loves you so

Jan 27, 2009 13:43

I'm an awful person because I'm horribly slow at any number of things and can't seem to settle on what I want to work on. Hence, the reason why this post is so late. Well, that and because a certain someone is pushing for me to finish PoID relatively soon. So, right. To the post.

Friday matters first, I suppose. A shorter one, for once.

Chem lab... sounds terrible. I am so sorry. Although, there is one point that demands clarification. When you compared it to being tied to a tree... did this tree feature the spikes and flesh-eating ants, or no?

And I loved the laundry story. I can definitely relate... why is it that the person whose laundry your moving comes in just in time to catch you red-handed, usually with an armful of their undies?

The Mistborn jewelery is available, but he says not to order it for the next few days, for some reason or another...

By the way, if I were you, I would have a phobia of hobos at this point. Just saying.

And I find it amusing how insanely confused someone who hasn't read Tide Lords (i.e. everyone but you and I) will be when reading this post.

It didn't sound nearly as bad as your Chem lab- you had it solo and I at least have a group to hopefully rely on. Besides, if I'm in a bad mood I'll be more likely to read PoID. Though, if I do develop cancer out of this, then I shall be very miffed ( ... )

WHAT. You WHAT. Dude, you could've gotten seriously hurt; it's not something to be nonchalant about. How many times do we have to tell you, call one of us if that happens. Or call a taxi-- they're free for freshmen.

It wasn't like I was walking home again. I learned my lesson from that one. It is a three to five minute walk from Waffle House to the shop, so I didn't think anything too bad could happen. And I didn't trust Travis not to get pulled over/kill us in the process of driving back

Probably with good reason, but Travis + cars makes me fear for my life. And I didn't want to call anyone out there at midnight to drive me that short of a distance.

Your chem lab sounds just like my first chem lab! Only without combining two of the bottles. And we used water instead of carcinogenics on day one.

Also, I agree with fadedfeathers. If you must walk, use the streets. It's really not that hard.

I do use the streets/sidewalks. I just tried to take a shortcut since the crosswalk thing takes forever and I've run across enough busy streets. The said shortcut usually works pretty well.

P.S.- Am I going to see you sometime over the summer or do I need to mail you that thing?
