A Very Long, Extended Delay

Well, for starters- I'm easily distracted. It helps if those distractions are pretty and female, which they were both. That's my excuse for not being around here. And cause I've been away from the computer for the past two days and so at Annie's mountain house, and blah and blah. I'd blame the former reason for most of it, though.

So, another ( Read more... )

Yay! Finally!

I feel like I should say more in this comment, but the truth is that I've already expressed my opinion on everything mentioned here in person...

You got lost hiking, huh? Was this on the 1st?

Oh, come on! You know I just write these expressly for the purpose of having you comment on them. Then again, I've put off writing it for so long that I can't really blame you for not saying too much on the matter.

Random question that has no consequence whatsoever- when's your midterm week?

Aye- we got a wee bit confused with the directions provided to us by Annie dearest, who then led us on a trailblazing adventure which then led to the discovery of a terraced amphitheater that would've been amazing for the skits (if it were warmer, that is). And then we wound up going in a loop for about 30-40 minutes down the exact same trail. Then we finally found the supposed waterfall, that wasn't really as impressive as the picture led us to believe.
See what you missed from leaving early? Though, seeing the whole bunch of them dancing to various songs wasn't something I really wanted to see.

What exactly do you mean by the fruitcake method of reading GoA? I'm looking to finish the Tide Lords series, but the rest of the books haven't come out yet in the States.

Thanks!

Well, the rest of them still haven't been published in the US yet, but a friend of mine discovered that if you search certain words on http://browseinside.harpercollins.com.au/index.aspx?isbn13=9780732283360, then you can literally read the entire book, line by line. Ie. you can search 'chapter 33' and it'll bring you the page chapter 33 starts on. You then look up the last word in the phrase that pops up in the box, to continue reading. To get through the pages, you either guess at what is likely on the page, usually a name, and then you go backwards to the top of the page. Or you can look up the page number, and work your way up from there.

Thanks so much! Now I can finish the rest of the series without having to wait for months and months.

Heh- not a problem. Well, GoA comes out in about a month, so no rush on that.
