Ok. May I just say that Big Girls Don't Cry (Anymore) is utterly misnamed. The women who looked after (for a given value thereof) my Mother Unit and I behaved as if she, as a mature woman, should no longer wish to have a feminine shape, even under normal clothes, let alone under a special outfit for a special event; then proceeded to act like a ( Read more... )

my boobs are taking over the world, omg!yay, life, female issues, people suck

Yeah, I'm trying to psychically jump on The Staghound to get on MSN to let me know when we're doing what on Thursday or Friday or whenever ... so that then I know how much of what I need to pack! *stress*

All About Eve is truly staffed by angels. It's a pity about the price, but at least you easily get $100 worth of service too. Last time I was there I had both sales staff running about trying to set me up with a bra. 10G is however tough to manage, even for them. At least now that you're all fitted, I can have a rustle about for you at the Bra and Brief Clearance Outlet of Deep Unabiding Love.

Oh I know. Especially after the indifference we got in at Big Girls, the girl at Eve was an absolute joy. I think she went out and got every bra in the place in my size, or as close as could possibly be wrangled, found matching briefs, and then backed up and did the same thing for my Mother Unit, with a beautiful smile and wonderful attitude and just ... yeah. I wanted to kiss her.

I remember the problems I had years ago trying to get 10E, seems I'm doomed to be one of "those" customers ...

I got to an F while breastfeeding. I can't imagine an H! (I'm naturally a D). Thanks for the link. I'll remember them when I go to Brissie next.

Also, I'm between sizes so you're only half a size bigger than me! I always thought we were about the same size from your piccy you posted a while back. Yay for us both losing weight!

Unfortunately I only seem to be losing it from the top half - my butt's still a size 20-22. Bloody hormones!!

Well, weightloss is weightloss-- it's all good for you. *hugs* I do commiserate, though.

I'm having trouble shifting my belly.

You at least have beautiful children to show off in exchange for your belly. Mine just showed up and made itself at home, curse its little black heart. Even with all the crunches I'm doing at the physio's behest to try to keep my back from totally going apeshit on me, that sucker's still there, being ugly and making it really annoying trying to buy knickers - if I don't buy full/high-tops they just roll down and sit under it. Not an appealing look. *sigh* At least my ribs are looking nicer. :)

Wow, I dont know if I have never seen photos of you or what, but I cant imagine you having breasts that big, those are even bigger than mine, and mine are VERY noticable in all clothes and photos.
And bras are so much more expensive at larger sizes, it sucks.

There's a couple in the film-shoot entry, but corsets always make things look out of proportion. Other than that, no I don't tend to be in pictures if I can help it. :)
