Oh dear

You know you've really fucked something up when your physiotherapist tells you not to weight bear for another week at least. (Which is ok, because my feet and ankles have for some reason chosen this week to try to imitate water balloons.) Not only am I not to weight bear, I'm to actually spend as much time lying down as I can. So. A week in bed ( Read more... )

i'm an idiot, uncoordination, pain

800 mg of tramadol hydrochloride plus more drugs? O_O Wow. Feel better than you do at present soon.

I'm only on 400mg. Have I been cheated? ;)

I intend to feel better eventually; it's just a lot of fun lying here knowing that the EDS makes me a slow healer, so in about two months I might be back where I was.

Actually, I feel better today because I'm actually being a good patient and not walking about anywhere I don't need to. Makes me feel a tad like some overbearing Victorian matron, lying in bed and calling to my minionmother when I'm hungry or need my water bottle refilled, but I don't hurt as much. The question is now which is going to break first - her patience or my sanity?

Ah shit-- yeah. 8 tablets, not 800 mg. My brain is mixing up numbers again. This is why I use a pill box.

Add a tinkly bell and you have a sitcom episode that has been done to death. ;-)

no, she just SMSed me from the bedroom yesterday morning when she desired a cup of tea!
then when we went out, she forgot to take any of her tablets with her. going to visit the physio! i think she needs to leave a pillbox in my car with the requisite meds.

Ohdearohdear.

Well, we know where there is a captive audience if we want to show holiday pictures/practice our stand-up routines/bang on about our latest crush. See! Worse alternatives to more physio.

Awww, thanks for the stoat.

*grin* This is true. Every silver lining has a cloud.

I almost convinced the Mother Unit to venture to the combined birthday bash, but her Spousal Unit is in a Mood, so we stayed here and looked suitable chastened for whatever sins we've committed this time. (Totally inaccurate, but always how I end up feeling when he stomps about and swears at things he's fucked up because he did them too quickly because he's angry about something.)

I even have a present for you! But it's shiny ... does it have to wait a while?

I think next up I've got baby alligators.

Ooh, are they shiny baby alligators? ...it settled down again... it looks like it happens if I have too much fun...

I've locked myself out! Luckily I don't have to sleep in the park.

Locked yourself out? How? Are you going to be ok? Do you have a way to get back in??

One of the advantages of living with my parents is having a nice big pool.

Awww... I love the stoat.

Ferrets are gorgeous! And the pool mention was a bad invitation... having a not so good day today.

Understand bad days very well. :)

Not sure if my Mother Unit is up to ferrying me to beyond Petrie, but I'll mention that there may be a pool available up there and see what she says. Thank you.
