Believe it or not, most of my new trousers (bought during the last year) are size 16, according to the label. I have to take the belt in a bit, about an inch, and they fit perfectly. It's just so much eaisier to grab the largest size there is on the hanger (16 usually, if I ma lucky) and then go down one if necessary. I am absolutely serious, this scares me...
So the thing is, half the shops don't have size 16 AT ALL, and the other half do, but it's 16 in the anorexic world. If you have to have a healthy not-skinny-not-podgy build like mine to fit into 16, what do you have to be to fit into 12?? Argh.
