My Scarf & Hat

Last year I knitted 7 scarves and 6 knit caps for Christmas. They all went to other people. So this time around I decided that I would knit myself something for a change. I just finished putting the tassels on my scarf this morning. The scarf and cap are made in preparation for my Alaska cruise starting next weekend. Hopefully they will be ( Read more... )

have you tried making mittens or fingerless gloves? There is a guy in savannah who has some he made, he said he would make me a pair but he's a bit "special" so i doubt i will ever see anything. but they were mittens with the the first inch of each finger. He had the twisty pattern on the top. Anywho just a thought.

I'm sorry to admit that mittens and gloves deal with the dreaded DPNs that I have been rather afraid to start using yet. *sheepish look*

Hmm... I'd love to order a scarf for my brother and his boyfriend. How about a brown one with a soft cashmere-type wool? I can pay in advance!

I'm picturing the hat and scarf with a leather jacket, perhaps brown or black. You're going to look so badass on the deck of a ship. : )
