Upon reading about his hairdo mishaps, I mentioned that I had some old photos of my supernumerary days with the Orlando Opera Company (12 shows over about 6 seasons between 1992-1999). I did a double take at the Romeo and Juliet picture...it looked like you were wearing a purple baseball cap!
