Ninjas, Shinigami, and Death Notes
Sorry I haven't been around much recently, I've been doing a lot of missions. Did you know, if you come back from the dead, you have to pay back-taxes? Yeah, I didn't now either.
Anyway, while on a recon mission I had time to ponder some things, and this is what I came up with:

But, you already passed on when you were a ghost, right? That means you wouldn't have a chain, and you wouldn't have to worry about turning into a hollow.
The chakra = reiatsu thing is interesting. Since they're essentially the same thing, a spiritual energy that allows us to perform certain abilities normal people couldn't do, I think it's a possibility that could happen. Of course, you can't just BECOME a Shinigami. You'd have to go to the academy first!

Well, I get that. It's like going to the Ninja Academy if you want to be a ninja. Hehe, imagine it, a shinigama who knows jutsu.
...Though it'd be a scary thing if someone with massive chakra were able to do things like Bankai...

It'd probably be the same as someone with a lot of reiatsu using Bankai. Which is actually pretty impressive... of course, it's a whole diffrent story when they use it on the battlefield, so I guess it'd be a bit scary...

Mmm. If you ever get a chance to see two high level ninja really battle it out, you'd be very impressed by what they can do.
