Red sash, maybe? Black one seems too jarring.

Yeah, black might be a bit too harsh. But since this is a stash-project I have to use what I have and am not allowed to buy new fabric for it. And I don't have anything red (besides velvet that is) in my stash. Maybe I'll just leave it off. I thought the black might work, because I think I will be wearing my black hat with it. Thanks for your opinion anyway. It's always good to hear what other people are thinking, because sometimes an idea can get stuck in my mind and I can't see other possibilities.
