(Re: tone, I didn't think anyone could stand another whirlwind like Promised the Dark just yet. Let them catch their breath -- at least for the first few chapters . . .)

Lighthouses have special meaning for me. I am so excited to have S and J going to one. I get a new poem about one too to copy into my journal.
You reference Corsica! I love continuity so much. That's why i was asking you if it was the same 'verse. I meant that you are writing about the same version of John and Sherlock in all of your stories? It appears so. yay
Jealous Lestrade is a prince, BAMF and charming. loving a rivalry. woo hoo

I also have a great fondness for lighthouses, and hope you enjoy this little excursion to Mull:)
Ah, Lestrade! He has some strong feelings for John -- and this will be a key feature in several of these stories. I adore Lestrade.
Thanks so much for the shoutout for Full Fathom Five-- hope you like the rest!

I have No willpower where your stories are concerned.
Lestrade would keep John safe if John would let him try. At the end of the chapter, he follows after John.
Even your sets up and connecting scenes are romantic. sigh.
I think Mycrof's Sardinia snark is jealousy. (sing songy voice, lol)

Notice how Mycroft shakes Lestrade's hand, but immediately leaves 221b as Lestrade arrives. He's only waiting in the car, outside.
Yes, the little dig about "Sardinia," definitely jealous. We know who he'd like to be with, there.
But how long he will wait! Meanwhile, Lestrade follows John. . .<3
