Oooh, very intriguing beginning and I like the tone you've set so far. Loved the little spat about John. They're both so right too. Will try to catch up on the other chapters when I can.

Hi, welcome back! Glad its working for you so far. I will be posting Chapter 3 later tonight :) Thanks for reading!
(Re: tone, I didn't think anyone could stand another whirlwind like Promised the Dark just yet. Let them catch their breath -- at least for the first few chapters . . .)

I don't like to comment on every chapter when it's such a riveting story and further chapters are available, but a few randoms.

Lighthouses have special meaning for me. I am so excited to have S and J going to one. I get a new poem about one too to copy into my journal.

You reference Corsica! I love continuity so much. That's why i was asking you if it was the same 'verse. I meant that you are writing about the same version of John and Sherlock in all of your stories? It appears so. yay

Jealous Lestrade is a prince, BAMF and charming. loving a rivalry. woo hoo

Yes, though all the stories more or less stand alone, it is one giant verse, with continuity throughout in terms of what's happened to the characters, and how the events affect them through the course of the stories. That's why I decided to properly organize the Indestructible series-- so people that might like a longer fic experience can enjoy (hopefully!) the stories in proper order.

I also have a great fondness for lighthouses, and hope you enjoy this little excursion to Mull:)

Ah, Lestrade! He has some strong feelings for John -- and this will be a key feature in several of these stories. I adore Lestrade.

Thanks so much for the shoutout for Full Fathom Five-- hope you like the rest!

We're going to see if I can read one chapter at time. :)

I have No willpower where your stories are concerned.

Lestrade would keep John safe if John would let him try. At the end of the chapter, he follows after John.

Even your sets up and connecting scenes are romantic. sigh.

I think Mycrof's Sardinia snark is jealousy. (sing songy voice, lol)

Ah, it is interesting to go back, to the beginning. Thanks for revisiting the Scottish mystery.

Notice how Mycroft shakes Lestrade's hand, but immediately leaves 221b as Lestrade arrives. He's only waiting in the car, outside.

Yes, the little dig about "Sardinia," definitely jealous. We know who he'd like to be with, there.

But how long he will wait! Meanwhile, Lestrade follows John. . .<3

Mmmmm Lestrade. Yes, 'my' Lestrade is *slightly* less noble and self-sacrificing than canon; he's scrappier, a fighter, and very definitely willing to fight for John. I can't blame him. He respects Sherlock as a detective, but thinks he's very bad news for John. It's no secret that this conflict won't be resolved for a while.

I hope you enjoy Full Fathom Five, thanks for reading!
