Pennsic deciding factor: Weather

Rain is forecast nearly everyday is the nail in the coffin! We aren't going. I hope everyone who makes it has fun!

Sounds *very* wise. Owyn and I did it *together* with two 15 month olds, and it was zany - try it with her next year, and I bet you'll have a blast! Plus, hopefully we'll all be there too, so we can provide each other with social support and playmates! :)

Next year she'll be moving much faster which is the main reason I was pushing for *this* year!

True, but with one kid, you can use a tether without getting tied in knots! Superyards (or neighbourhood four year olds who are used to being big sisters) are your friends!

Everyone who's gone with a baby says it's MUCH easier to go with a baby than a toddler. My boy is going this year (5 months) and NOT next year. Of course, I have issues with some of the staff for next year so I may decide to stay home and watch the explosions from afar, with a fan and popcorn. :)

Forecasts are fickle things but it was all I had to go on. In hindsight, I wish I had kept hoping and working at garb and such to arrive Tuesday or something!
