Not my bank - the bank that holds my mortgage. Who actually bought it from the original mortgage holder. So, really nothing I can do unless I refinance. :P
That DOES suck. I don't know what bank you're using, but Bank of America lets you set up online bill pay through *their* interface for pretty much anyone, which lets me avoid that sort of annoyance.
Wow. *That* sucks bigtime. I thought it was crappy that our gas company (was Keyspan, now "National Grid") doesn't take credit cards, just debits or checking accounts.
A lot of places are charging for phone payments, but for online payments? That's just silly. It costs so much less to process an online payment!
Seconding the suggestion of using the bank's billpayment system for the mortgage. I think that does work just like a check. Good luck.
