Today is an impossibly lovely day. The sun is up, the weather is warm, everyone is out picnicking. I spent today wandering various benches and fields, chasing the sun. I'm very happy for you.

Meanwhile, I took a walk to school. There were these huge fairytale snowflakes swirling everywhere and yet it wasn't particularly cold. It was nice.

That sounds so lovely! I am a huge fan of snow--being a California boy, I never had snow growing up, so it's a total novelty to me. Every time it shows up, I'm that kid running outside in sandals and short sleeves, frolicking for a minute until my toes go numb and I dart back inside, freezing my ass off and still grinning like a lunatic.

... but after months of cold and dark, it's so wonderful to see the sun again! :D

I'm that way about rainstorms. I just run around in them 'till I'm exhausted and shivering and perfectly perfectly happy. And then I get a cold :D

I do that with light rain, rarely with severe downpours. Though there was that one time, with the tropical storm in Honduras... but that was more by necessity than anything else. In general, warm rain will induce playing in me. Or swimming. Swimming in the rain is one of my favorite things!

Replying to comments is for pansies. All the cool kids make a new comment every time they have something to add.

I was there for the very beginning of it! Remember, we ran about and tried to hide in the Undercity? And then came out from below with no clue where we were, and cavorted in the rain anyways, because it was great. But I was gone by the time the serious rains hit.
