There is no way I can just pick one show for this one (as will likely be the case with many of the days). I have narrowed it down to three though and that's the best I can do.

BSG was one of my two favorite shows (the other being XF); I think I posted here or when I was posting about Caprica for Fave New Show that I must be the only person in the world who actually loved the series finale.

Oh I didn't realize you were such a big BSG fan too! And very interesting that you liked the ending. I think there's a fair amount of people that didn't hate it, but I unfortunately am not one of them!

Yeah, I have to rank BSG as the best television show ever; even though it could be inconsistent at times (especially toward the end of seasons), I've never seen anything as good.

The finale was really tough for me. I only lurked in fandom, but after the finale I got on and was just so excited to read everyone's thoughts, and everyone in the aftermath seemed to absolutely hate it. And I just got so bummed that I pulled out of fandom completely - like, I don't think I read any meta or got on any of my usual sites for like six months - and couldn't even bring myself to rewatch the finale till a couple months ago. I'm not sure I can rationally explain it, heh; it was just so the opposite of what I was expecting when I ran down to get on the computer after the episode finished that I think I ended up shellshocked.

I definitely think at least the first 3/4 are pretty much some of the best stuff on tv yeah. I got really unhappy with the fourth season, especially as it kept going on, but still overall I love the frakking show :)

I can understand not wanting to read all the negative reactions to something you liked. I sort of withdrew too (well withdrew lurking and reading, for all that matters) after the finale after a while, because I was just so disappointed with all of it. I haven't watched pretty much any episode in s4 more than once, where as like the s1 eps I have practically memorized. It's definitely a show that produces some strong reactions, thoughts and feelings though, which is a good overall I think.
