Oh, no -- I think trousers are grand. Some of my favorite people have worn trousers.

I'm not sure what the line is between slacks and trousers. Maybe the shininess factor...

Which one is shiny?? Now I feel as though I've been living an uncultured life. WHICH IS WHICH??

(My scottish friend calls all his pants trousers. It used to be funny when he'd wake us up in the morning, whisper-yelling "Where are my trousers?! Are you sleeping on my trousers?!" and we'd all be like "...GOD NO. WE ARE NOT. Fuckin' Scottish moron. THEY ARE JEAN SHORTS!")
