This was great to look at, Blair and Dan were really similar in their view of sex.

I think they still are the most traditional on the show in regards to sex, they are just more cynical about it. To elaborate:

Compare Nate and Dan's attempts at being players. Nate slips into the role effortlessly (post Serena breakup, season 4) while Dan tries to but doesn't really get anywhere (post Serena breakup, season 2). Which brings us to Blair, during her season 2 downward spiral, she tried to breakaway from her sex-is-big-deal but, aside from Carter, didn't really do much sexing about the town either. Even post IP, when her self-esteem took an even bigger blow, she still didn't.

(I would even go so far as to say their similar views about sex are the reasons why they still give each other random advice about each other's relationships.)

I totally agree with the Dan/Nate non-parallel.
Also they both have these ideas about sex (especially their first time) being meaningful, and maybe they even over-romantizise it a little (or in Blair's case a lot). While Nate, Serena, Chuck and Georgie just went for it when they were drunk/high...
