I'd have to respectfully disagree with the first part of the statement. She dated:

Nate, who has never really had a job
Aaron who's job was "artist"
Carter - didn't know what he did for a living

Yet, I'm not thinking about Aaron, Carter, or Nate for that matter.

I'm talking about these two guys, who somehow made an impression on Serena.
