Finally got to see Iron Man 3 tonight. Despite the obvious product tie-ins, and the final battle that was more like a giant toy commercial, it was pretty good. My dad thought it was the best of the 3, but I'm still not sure if it was better than the first. I did like the nods to the first movie, the infamous Switzerland conference that is

Don't get me started on the Mandarin!! Gah! And Extremis! And I really thought we were going to get Rescue *sigh*

But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I personally loved the finally battle. Cracked me up that this small kid next to me kept high-fiving his mom whenever Iron Man did something cool, LOL!

I liked the final battle, it just kinda felt like "hey kids! collect 'em all" like they used to do with all the various Batman action figures back in the '90s.
