I've tossed my hat into the ring over at help_japan and will be offering an original musical composition. Ever wanted to have a song written for you? Here's your chance. I have no idea if anyone is going to bid... I don't have any recordings online of my stuff, but on the off chance I figured I'd post. So if anyone is interested, my thread is here.

gosh, that's kind of special, isn't it?
i've offered four things (Japan means a lot to me, heh), and I've found to my amusement that the things I'm offering to buy (japanese snacks and k-pop merchandise) are selling for much more than the two fics I'm offering. ahh well. all for a good cause. :)

I've got so much fic on my plate, and I figured this would be something a bit different. I doubt anyone but people on my flist will bid... (and thuri is awesomely sweet) but I don't compose as much as I wish I did, so this fulfills two worthy objectives.

Wow. That's AMAZING! I sooooo wish I had some sort of talent like that. I mean, I can sing, but I can't compose worth a damn. *hugs* You are awesome!

Thanks. I'm not the most amazing musician in the world, but I enjoy playing and teaching, which to me is what counts. Music should be fun! It'll be an instrumental piece and have a fun, excessively long folky/fiddle tune name. I love that about fiddle music. The names are half the fun!
