I went to the gym to be measured this evening. I was very discouraged. I've been working out, cardio and all, for a month, and I've only lost ONE freakin pound. I don't want to weigh 153 lbs. I want to weigh 135. Stupid dyslexic scale. However, I did lose inches. I lost 1 1/2 inches in my waist, 1 1/2 inches in my bust (oops!), 2 inches in my hips ( Read more... )

I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told Kass. Exercising more builds muscle mass which temporarily (for several months) makes you heavier. Muscles weigh more than fat. However muscles use more energy than fat cells. Losing inches is a good thing. That's what you really want to do anyway. Keep it up. You're doing good.

still... i am doing lots of cardio. I SHOULD be losing weight too!
