we're going to try out a new rule for this round, to see how it impacts the poll results. we'll see if it sticks with the rest of the rounds, though I'm pretty sure it will. any way, the rule is:

hi! this is just to say that my story is, unfortunately, going to be late. I should have it done by monday the 10th -- I just don't have any time to write it until sunday, is the thing. sorry! I knew this first round was going to be tight. yes I will finish it and yes I'm planning to sign up for the next round no matter what (though I think I'm not allowed to sign up until I post my story?). xxx

no problem, yo. sign ups will probably end on the 11th or 12th, but you can go ahead and sign up even if you've not posted yet. I trust you not to default. and, 'sides, if you do I have a couple people I can send to hunt you down. ;D

I may be a bit late in the next round too, due to school wingswing. over the summer it will be better!

is there still a way to see the poll results? or, how do you, in your moderaterly wisdom, think that the subsequent rounds will shake down (Boomer, Six/Gina... and which other three)? aeonian and I NEED there to be a D'anna round for the purposes of our epic, and we're trying to figure out if we can gamble on that.
