[Smoke waits near the elevator for Huo with his satchel on his shoulder. Any excuse to see his little brother is a good one. And just based on Huo's demeanor - from the bit of talk they'd done on paper and the one time in person - it seemed like he might actually get along with Amurui. And Smoke was all for any new friends for Amurui.]

[Huo is well familiar with the way to the elevator by now, and arrives quickly, though as serene and measured as usual. It would be good, he thinks, to meet Smoke's brother - meeting more people is high on his agenda, at the moment - and good to have a better idea of the work assignment he finds himself considering with growing approval.

Approaching Smoke, he tucks his hands in his sleeves and puts them together as he bows, a respectful greeting.] Hello, Smoke-jūn.

[Smoke bows in return, still amused as ever by Huo's formality] Yo, Huo-kun. Let's get going, huh? This way. [He jams his hands in his trenchcoat's pockets and off they go!]

[He leads Huo through Stuff Inc. to Captain Planet] "My first brother should be around here somewhere - he likes to sit and of course with the wheat being high, it's hard to find him."

"Also - I told you he doesn't talk a lot, but his memory is... shoddy at best. It'd be a good idea to think of a memento before we leave - some way for him to tie you to the memento, or else he'll forget you."

[Smoke rubs his hands together] "Yosh! Let's find, Amurui." [He cups his hands around his mouth] "OI! AMURUI!" At least now my hair is back to normal - he should be able to recognize me this time.

[The great, swishing expanses of wheat have Huo standing and looking around him with a soft but joyful smile, running his hands along the tall stalks and breathing in their scent. He feels good here, feels a sort of simple peace, as though exactly such a place, or a similar one, had been kind to him once.]

I understand him. [he comments off-hand at the mention of Amurui liking to sit. The mention of a memento has him frowning a bit in thought, though. He isn't carrying anything but a few coins, his journal and pen... but that should be enough, actually.]

I have an idea, I think, [he says with a smile, leaving Smoke to do the shouting. Amurui won't recognize his voice, anyhow.]

[The teen was indeed sitting among the high wheat again, almost hidden by the golden stalks. Enjoying the sight of the tiny flowers growing on the ground in the midst of the field, it took Amurui a moment before he realized that someone was calling for him. (Or it took him a while to actually tear himself away.)

Recognizing Smoke's voice, he stood up carefully so he wouldn't step on the forget-me-not. Seeing his brother and another man on the other side of the field, the gray-haired boy rose a hand in greeting and then moved through the flowing wheat towards them.]

[Smoke notices Amurui at last and returns the wave.] Yo!

[He indicates in Amurui's direction] Huo-kun, this is my brother Amurui. [When Amurui is a bit closer] Amurui, this is Huo. He's new - and he mentioned he'd like to try farming as his job.

[He gives a thumbs-up and a grin] And I told him that I knew just the guy he wanted to talk to~

Ack I'm sorry can we um agree on a tense for this? ><"

[Turning to the new arrival, Huo puts his hands together and gives his customary bow of greeting, lower than he had reserved for Smoke - this is a first meeting. Head still bent, he quickly studies Amurui through downcast eyes. An interesting fellow, this, he can tell even from a quick glance, and wonders how he and Smoke fit together, beyond the bond tied at the Hall of Beginnings.

Remembering what Smoke had said, about Amurui being a man of few words, he doesn't speak, but straightens from the bow with a faint open smile, allowing Amurui to get a good look and impression of him as he did of the other man.]

[He gives the new person a long, silent look with his single gray eye, curious about his polite bow. Raised a slave, the kimunkle boy finds it very confusing and he's not sure how to react. It didn't feel right, did it?

...so he'll just keep looking at Huo a little while longer, before finally smiling back. It's simple and honest, just as the nature-child he is, and Amurui nods slightly to the field.]

Is nice. Calm.

[He shoves his hands in his pockets and reclines on his hips]

Come to think of it I don't know I ever explored this place that much myself either.

[Attentive to moods as he is, Huo catches the hint of confusion in Amurui's initial response and gives the boy his time. At Amurui's words he nods, again glancing around at the wide, shining field of wheat, not a soul in sight. He breathes in, visibly indulging.]

Calm. And the wind is sweet.

[A little amused at Smoke's eagerness to move, he nods at the other man, as well.]

May we have a look?

Okay.

[The teen seems happy about Huo's words and nods a little. It really was a calm, nice place with fresh air and just an aura of serenity about it. It was part of what the +Anima liked best.]

Yes. Fields here. Grow food.

[He starts walking and nods to a barn on the other side of one field.]

Animals. Apple works.

Oh yeah - forgot Apple works out here too. [He turned to Huo] You should meet him some time. I haven't, but I know he's a good kid from... an acquaintance. [That was about all he could call Moon really.]

[Other than that, Smoke just walked alongside Amurui with a grin on his face and a cigarette in his mouth. He liked his brother's company, that was for sure]

[It isn't much information, but Huo takes in it gladly: his expression brightens, slightly but visibly, at the mention of animals.]

What kind? [It didn't come to him before, but now he knows, immediately and certainly, that he and animals get along.]

We've conversed through the journals, I believe. [He comments to Smoke.] He had mentioned a shelter for animals, though I had thought that he meant only cats, dogs and the like.

Cow. Goat. Chicken. Like farm.

[That were some of the animals belonging to the farmlands, at least. The ones that were milked or produced eggs. He wasn't sure of it was the same ones who became food at the other place, though - and Apple's animal shelter was a whole other thing.]

Other place. Cats and dogs. Not same.

Oh! [Smoke got it] Nah the shelter is for like... people's pets, when they disappear. Animals that really can't fend for themselves except in the wilds of people's trash cans scrounging for food. And they aren't food themselves, so Apple takes care of them until someone else wants them.

[Smoke jerked his thumb to indicate the farmland they were now at as opposed to the shelter] This place feeds people. Plants and milk and eggs at least... I mean there is a butcher's so that's gotta come from somewhere.

I see. [He nodded, glad to think that no hungry animals ran uncared for in the Sphere. Apple was another person he would need to talk to. There was something strange that occurred to him when he thought of it, though, that took precedence.]

This is a large farm, [he commented, frowning slightly.] Too large for two men alone. [Amurui and Apple could not be all there were.]
