"Oh, those. Omoikane and I did... Weapons tests... On the people who tried to do that to him. Well, he shot at them which got them angry and I convinced their monitoring programs that the toaster oven was really his central data grid. Either way it was an idiotic way of trying to get someone to do what you want."
"Mostly. I was engineered to think more like a computer than a person, and taught much the same. A lot of the things humans do doesn't make sense, but I try to get along."
"If it helps, when I was very little, I was introduced to Omoikane as a nanocolony that was hiding in a meat sack. It was a disgusting way of looking at it, but. Most of the scientists were disgusting people."
Yes. I've only seen a few children. Some came to the "Take Your Daughter to Work Day" when I was activated.
I didn't get to see them for very long though.
[That might have had something to do with the fact that she'd locked the place down and filled it with neurotoxin, one picosecond after being activated.]
"Oh... I heard about those. I guess technically, if I wanted to live with my biological parents I could go through something like that back home, but, I'm not well built for such a stupid job. I just worked like anyone else."
"Do you need some help gathering parts Miss GLaDOS?"

[She ponders for a minute]
"What's a personality core?"
Reply
[And her expression becomes annoyed.]
Small cores that the scientists put on me to control my behaviour.
They were always talking, and talking. They drove me crazy.
[It may have done that literally.]

[She didn't have anyone to try and help her.]
Well it failed anyway. They're all dead now. Even if some of the cores are still there....
[She pauses, anger cut off as she remembers something.]
Oh...no they're not.
I suppose they're ash now.

[She ponders for a minute then nods]
"Well, it sounds like they were all maddening so incinerating them was probably a good move. That way no one could try to do it again."
Reply
[Humans have one good trait. Their ability to die run tests.]
Oh the scientists? They were dead by then.
But it doesn't matter anymore.

[She shrugs a bit]

A lot of them are also, horrible people.

"Some of them aren't. But I can't really argue, the adult world of humans seems to be built on lies and self interest."

"Still, it must have been an interesting day."

It was very interesting.
[Don't mind her slightly creepy voice.]

"Still, a love of science needs to be taught at an early age."
