You've all probably seem the post on BtB about the new rules regarding secrets. I think we all agree that the new rules, while understandable, are pretty damn annoying. However, I am not here to talk about the rules. I am here to talk about the troll, and how to recognize it.

Disregarding whether or not the troll should be allowed to post, does anyone else feel sad for them? Like, don't they have people to talk to?

They probably don't blog about it because they like the attention secrets give them! I agree that they seem self-absorbed, but it's still kind of pitiful.

Its the fact that they seem to have just sprung up is interesting too, they didn't seem to follow btb across from lolisecrets and its just been in the last 8 weeks.

Its crazy pitiful though- you are totally right.

I definitely feel that the new rules could be useful to get rid of the troll secrets. I mean, I know I wasn't the only one who was like "yay, secrets are late BUT there's SO many so there's bound to be some good ones!!" Nope, I think there was one secret that made me laugh and the rest were garbage. The most secrets ever but also the most boring. I am not all about drama, I mostly read them for laughs but there weren't any funny ones or even any good drama ones XD I mean after all of those secrets it felt like most of them were fake and/or made by the same couple of people. And so many of them were about the same things. The worst part is that they weren't even good trolls (as far as secret content) :P ( ... )

The habit of naming pictures with numbers is actually pretty common in web-designing. It makes it easier to sort them into specific orders.

Anyway, I have to agree, something needs to be done and I hope this will help. Most of last week's secrets had the same themes, were not funny and quite repetitive.

Having done that to a set of 200 images that now are previewed through I CMS (only viewable one-by-one with a lag), I will say that naming images with numbers can be hellish down the road when you have only the file names and have to find a specific image without knowing it's name. O__o

Aha, the key is to keep them in organized folders! But really. When I make confessions, I name them confessionXX. They show up in the order I made them without needing to toggle the settings.

If it had been to much bother to upload them all on one day, I think the outrage would've been lessened if there was, say, a day or two break between the first and second half of secrets posting so the mods don't go crazy ( ... )

Except it sounds like this has been an on-going thing with this troll. It was like a few months ago that the mod made the secret showing like 70 secrets from one person.

Besides, it doesn't look like they are cutting actual secrets (except a couple that they thought were the troll), it looks like memes and junk that just belong on 4chan. Pikachu with a bow isn't someone getting something off their chest.
