Ugh that post killed me, as I graduated with a degree in Japanese language, and holy crap does that person actually know any Japanese besides what you learn from anime?

I left a rather blunt comment, and kinda worry that the EGL mods will leave me a warning, but really, I don't regret telling off this person if they are real because mixing up two languages just speaks volumes of immaturity and is kind of insulting (speaking as both a native English speaker and someone who can carry a regular conversation in Japanese).

Apparently they don't. And since the comm rules actually forbid the use of useless japanese phrases it seems the mods likely agree with you anyway!

Im pretty sure it is yeah :) Its not a problem most of the time, but when people do type this way it is really irritating.

日本語の勉強を止めちゃったって、残念ですが、レディーアシュコさんの日本語がきれいだと思います！
実は、卒業式から今まで日本語を全然話さなかったです。それから私の読解力などが低下してしまいました。でも、今日いろいろな人と日本語で話したので、うれしいです。懐かしい気持ちです＾。＾
