Last I saw, nearly everyone went 'oh that's awful' and one/two particular threads tangented onto the naivete/savviness of buying replicas or not. Was OP butthurt that less sycophantic reactions were 'well, you should have seen it coming'? :/
I HATE comment deletion. I actually wanted to see what people had to say about the issue! If you don't want comments on your post, just... Refrain from posting at all. >.<;
SERIOUSLY. Not to mention people were being very civil even if they disagreed, though the prevailing sentiment from the not so sympathetic was indeed 'should have known better'. I can understand if someone started to feel ashamed and grumpy that people were passive-aggressively rubbing it in, but damn.
Though I think it's shitty of her to remove comments (idk isn't that a mod-warnable offense?), I'm glad she posted the negative review. :/ A couple friends I've spoken to feel that there are many more girls who have had bad experiences with DoL and similar (what else explains such a demand that they had to move factories!), but intentionally don't post bad reviews so they can push off their bad investment onto someone else (e.g. naive/optimistic girls who aren't necessarily newbs) and get their money back. :/
There's been several. A bunch of people's orders were delayed by a couple of months because the move took place right after they'd released the replica. So there were a couple of 'Help where is my order!?!?' posts. You have to wonder how they thought that releasing a popular print right before a factory move was a good plan. If they'd held the release off by a few weeks it'd have cut down on the hassle.
Also I bought a SC replica skirt & headbow from DoL, just for fun. I guess it didn't have the same line-up issues since it was just a skirt, but it was done pretty well, aside from the ink issues people have already pointed out. The headbow was less-than-desirable for its lack of structure, but none of it was my style anyway.
At this point, from all the reviews I have read over the years, I think it's safest to say if you want custom-sized items, you have to be extra diligent in choosing the right seamstress. I can't actually recall reading a good custom-size taobao experience rn.
Edit cos I can't shut up: When posting reviews, particularly negative ones, I have found it important to unleash any built-up rage in Wordpad, delete the vitriol, and rewrite yourself in order to avoid sounding like you have maximum butthurt. It does suck when people don't believe/credit what you have to say, but there is little reason to take it personally.
Hullo, I recieved the skirt and shoes! My lazy self still hans't left feedback...sorry. I've the replica JSK in lavender too and I'm not gonna bawww about the quality of a replica because its a REPLICA. I know its not gonna be perfect. The JSK doesn't line up when on teh hanger, but when worn its fine. I wish my life was so trouble free that recieving a replica dress thats not perfect and then to have people going off topic on MY POST would ruin my day.
That said, my replica didn't come with the dirt and hair...
Yay! I was gonna message you today to ask if you received it yet! I will leave you feedback asap. :]
Oi, I forgot about the dirt & hair part. D: I don't really remember how mine came since it was part of a large group order, and I usually wash everything before I wear it the first time.

How does she know they moved factories? Is there another post on this?

I have no idea. I was surprised and I sort of hoped someone would explain it in the comments. But alas...
