She did say that she wasn't home and that she'd post pictures later. I don't see what the problem is when she stated it at the beginning of her post.

It's how ridiculously offended she got over the entire thing.

She really should have just waited to put the entire thing (including pictures) up at once.

True true. It was silly of her to explode. If anything she could have just replied to those who were jumping on her and said that she'll post pictures later.

I'm honestly looking forward to the review (with photos, of course) if she ever gets around to it.

But at the same time I could understand not wanting to put photos, LJ is such a bitch about photos. OMG. x.x

I will never understand the concept of posting a photo-only or text-only review and spout off that 'the rest will come later'. Your post is unfinished, and as it is right now, unhelpful to anyone with a functioning brain. Why are you posting at all?

And for someone who claims to be experienced, well, wouldn't that also mean they're aware of the dynamics of reviews on EGL? That we need BOTH text and photos, as there are instances of sockpuppeting AND delirious newbies who post reviews only to have experienced members tell them that from the photos they posted, what they got was junk and not quality? She doesn't have enough of a high-profile and taste-reputable presence on EGL at all, so why on earth should we be expected to immediately trust her incomplete review for what it is right now? >;/

That was my thought exactly.

Doing something like this on a personal journal is fine, a quick review for your friends (that know and trust you) to read before you can sit down and put in pictures, but not on something like egl.

Wow, that exploded with butthurt. I saw that when she first posted, rolled my eyes at her impatience to post & bitched on Twitter about people who just can't wait to post, then forgot about it. Damn.

I don't get having such desperation to post NOWNOWNOWOMG!! that you do it half-arsed. Really, if you have something to post about but lack all the info that needs to be included, just wait. The community won't implode at having to wait a few hours. Unless it's an absolute emergency, which this isn't.

Oh yeah. That's why I had to walk away from the post. It was just TOO MUCH after all that waiting. I couldn't handle the sheer excitement.

I like how she's now made a comment about how she's been gone for a year so newbies forgot how she used to troll the comm. Great way to assure people your word is true there...

BTW, post is still up, why not link to it so people can watch the meltdown?

Honestly, though, the first set of comments, the ones that threw her into a fit, were in no way, shape, or form, rude.

There are just a lot of people interested in reviews about these replicas, and would prefer a complete review over something that looks more like an advertisement. :/

The questioners are pretty mild, and if you've been paying attention to all the wild scams and sockpuppeting on EGL recently, they're blunt but very reasonable requests. Really it makes the OP look worse. :S

The only grumpiness from the commenters is in reaction to the OP losing her shit at them, which is fair and a given.
