I suppose his writing style seems really pretentious to me (e.g. how he uses the word "study" and then has to define it using an asterisk as "sarcastically" meaning attention, attraction, etc. which sounded a bit like WTF to me). Also I feel he proceeds to flatter lolitas by going on in averbose manner about how he has to appreciate all the details etc. Calling himself "a gentleman and appreciator" and how he "cannot sit idly by if anything can be done to inspire confidence and increase the number of EGL sightings in the world"....

And I do get the impression that he's kinda fishing for the "aaawwww I hope my bf / more men was / were like you" reaction....

Ah, sure it's not that big a deal :) I think the name of the comm is a bit harsh for a lot of people who get posted here (it's more an EW/WTF than a GTFO). I don't doubt that he may be honestly interested in the style and learning more etc. - it's just that the way he expresses himself makes me nauseous :/
