Seriously. I was thinking about posting this. I'm glad you did. I love how I pulled out the costume definition and she was like, oh that fits. Thank you. Except the definition was in direct opposition to what she was saying about ALL clothing being costumes. GTFO.

While I agree that clothing=costume (as far as terminology goes as pounded into our heads by my fashion instructors) she's taking this completly out of text.

Clothing "costume" =/= Cosplay "costume"

I own the female kind, which I give to my friend to wear for photography, but I wear dandy and prince style. There's classic, noble, dandy, prince/boystyle, casual, punk, 'mature', mana, wa-lolita, qi-lolita, etc. most of the styles that i see in the club do not include most of these.

"I don't understand or respect Lolita, nor do I understand that the guidelines are there to define the style (as opposed to restricting the wearer).
I do not know good fabric from a hole in the ground, and do not realize that clothes look best when they express the owner's PERSONALITY.

And seeing as our clothing is REFINED, I'm sorry dear, but I think you should consider other options!
