There are two similar stories that match your second request; not sure which one has the Galen character. The first is "I Remember You" by Hannahkelli, which used to be on Midnight Whispers. The other story is Scoobysnacks' "When it Rains it Pours." Both are good stories, with Justin in abusive relationships in the post-Ethan period, and of course Brian coming to the rescue.
