I’m looking for a fic where Mel and Linds break up and the one that takes custody ends up living in a duplex with Jennifer and they help each other with babysitting, B/j may have bought the duplex for them.
Any help would be much appreciated

Not sure if this is the one you are looking for but have you tried Julesmonster's A Time of Adversity?

This one has B/J moving into a new condo, and Mel later leaves Lindsey and Jennifer finds her a condo in the same building as B/J, but not Jen and Mel living with each other. B/J do help her out with Gus in babysitting

I was bored and next thing i know, I was looking back at gih that went back to begging of summer. Saw your post, and was reminded of Julesmonster's story.
