Hi,

I would like to read your favourite B/J fic from the last 5-6 years. It could be from any genre, but I like finished, long fics.

I like Kinnetic Dreams site and the two authors that I have read everything they have done are MissMerlot and Starlight, they are recent authors but very long fics and I would highly recommend them.

Just as an FYI, that fic was reposted 5 years ago, but it was originally posted something like 10 or 11 years ago, so it's pretty old. But it's entirely possible it's one the OP missed!

Can I ask, did you post this directly to the comm? Or is it reposted/shared from somewhere else? I'm just trying to figure out why this post & comments come up in a completely different style from all the other posts on the comm.

One of my all time favorite is All Kinds of Time by emynn (http://archiveofourown.org/series/184325). It's an in-depth analysis of Brian's character through the eyes of Vic and Judy Garland from heaven (go with it). It's post 5x13 but there are pre series bits and some awesome gapfillers of various episodes. It's pretty angsty but with a happy ending.

In Quest of Something by ebbj9891 (http://archiveofourown.org/series/133530). This is VERY long, it's a collection of stories (there's a continuity but most of them can be read as standalones). It's basically their life post series, there's fluff, angst, humor, they deal with the bashing and with Brian's childhood and it features all the other characters (prominently Gus and Daphne).

Just have to chime in - great recs! Kachelofen, emynn, & ebbj9891 are definitely three of the very best of the *new-ish* authors, and Wyrd is by far my favorite fic of galeandrandy's.
