That's exactly it. It feels as if there must be an earlier fiction somewhere that includes the backstory of Nicky's parents and birth. Would you know about that?

I really do like this series. With all of the OC's running amok, it feels a little bit like a madcap comedy along the lines of "Bringing Up Baby" but it is serious as well. Brian and Justin are together, unquestionably, which I love, and working together, also a favorite of mine. As I mentioned, I'd like to find the backstory for Nicky's family, because that doesn't feel as organic as the Silvestri story line where they are clients. Happy reading!
