Hi all! I'm hoping for help locating one specific fic and recs for two other types.

I can't think of any specific ones off the top of my mind (sorry!) but there IS a tag on here for 'high school/college' fics that looked like had some good suggestions for #2. If I think of anything else, will let you know.

I did try looking through the tag here, but there are quite a lot of fics listed, and I got tired of wading through angst, lol. It's great you're adding the category to MW!

#1 is by morpheus.
Go to http://morpheusqaf.com
and click on "pre-season 3 stories"
and it takes you to a long story that starts with shattered. The chapter you are thinking of is about halfway down that page.

I don't know how much this will help, but I think #1 has the title State College PA followed by a zip code. Can't remember the author.
Brian takes Justin there for the funeral of an old lover.
Hope someone recgonizes the story line and comes up with the story for you.

Since you didn't get any recs for #2, let me give you this link to fics by Carly. Four out of five of those are high school fics. A couple of them I can't really remember whether or not they're angsty, but when you said you wanted low-angst hs fics, my mind went right to Handcuffed :) Now, there may not actually be enough high school in it for you. They're at school when they meet, really cute meeting, then the rest of the fic is them falling in love in a day and having lots of sex first times. But they're very sweet, and Jack and Joan in this fic are the coolest parents ever! The sequel, Bound, is unfinished, but not enough plot gets started for it to really cliff-hang you.
