I remembered this one because I just re-read it recently. I'm pretty sure #1 is The Art of the Heart by Lois and Mouse. Unfortunately I can't find it on line anymore. I thought it was posted at Across the Pond but only 2 of her stories are there. Since I can't find it on line I uploaded to sendspace. This is a direct link to download the story. Its a good story with a very strong, independent Justin.

You are simply the best. Ever. Anywhere. :) Both of those were exactly the one's I was searching for - and I even had Art of the Heart on my computer already! I'm all about the strong, independent Justin, even when he does sometimes seem to hit himself in the foot with it. LOL

Thank you so much.

You're welcome. Fortunately I read this recently so it popped into my mind quickly. I actually like all the requests people make here as it reminds me to go back and read stories I've forgotten about.

If you are interested in another story with a somewhat similar idea but it has a kind of supernatural kick to it then take a look at this story. I like the original character that is Justin's roommate. He is blind, a bit psychic and quite a character. There is an independent Justin or at least he is trying to be independent. Justin is in NYC, attending Art School and there is a dean involved. With a lot of humor in the story and a credit card that passes back and forth between Justin and Brian it's one that leaves me with a grin on my face as I'm reading it.

Mooonshadow Woman's stories are my virtual chocolate cake, my feel good fiction. Any time I need a bit of a lift I read one of her stories. It may have angst, but it's always going to end with B/J and that just can't be bad, can it?

I've read the story you mentioned. I love the back and forth of the credit card! LOL.. Thanks for the recommendation.
